Everyone writes riddles because everyone`s allowed.

Important

1.No profanity
2.No ultra gross stuff unless you ask me and I allow it.
3.No sooky wawas!

Here we go:

A fly starts on one train and tries to fly to the other. The train it starts at goes 60 km per hour, and it can go at 50.The goal train goes at 40.The trains collide in 60 minutes. How far would`ve the fly flown in that time?
Remember:
The starting train:60km/h

First: what the hack you want with a train what "can go at 50", but the same time "goes at 60"?
What the heck this means?

Second: we don't know how though the fly is, where is it on the train, what's the speed of the fly, or any such data.
So for conveniance sake I'll assume the fly is indestructibel, and sits at the very front of its train.
As the fly wants to get to the other train and the two will collide, the fly don't have to move any distance to get to the other train.

Here is an old one:

"I sat on the Maudlin bridge with my date Genny,
I broke her neck, drank her blood, threw her away."

So, what is my story about?

Srx 4 doublepost:

The fly&the train isn't even algebra. I heared it on physics class in seocndary school from a teacher who either tried to be funny, or tried to explain something about coordinate-systems, or sg.

An' I didn't know 'bout other riddle-thread, I thought this got approved.
Just got eliminate the bothering fly.

Turn the light off for these... they have to be in the dark.

What has roots as nobody sees,
Is taller than trees Up, up, up it goes,
And yet never grows?

Thirty white horses on a red hill,
First they champ,
Then they stamp,
Then they stand still.

Voiceless it cries,
Wingless flutters,
Toothless bites,
Mouthless mutters.

An eye in a blue face
Saw an eye in a green face.
'That eye is like to this eye'
Said the first eye,
'But in low place
Not in high place.'

It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt.
It lies behind stars and under hills,
And empty holes it fills.
It comes first and follows after,
Ends life, kills laughter.

A box without hinges, key or lid,
Yet golden treasure inside is hid.

Alive without breath,
As cold as death;
Never thirsty, ever drinking,
All in mail never clinking

No-legs lay on one-leg, two legs sat near on three legs, four legs got some.
Answer: Fish on a little one-legged table, man at table sitting on a three-legged stool, the cat gets the bones

This thing all things devours:
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Gnaws iron, bites steel;
Grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays king, ruins town,
And beats high mountain down.

I am so fragile,
Say my name I disappear.

What do I have in my pocket?

These are all 'What am I?' except the last one. And that should be easy.

Ye, this is the problem with riddles. A simple browsing and you get all the answers.

But not for this one I bet:

More human, than human
still an inferior;
Sinless, guiltless,
plastic existence.

Plastic cyborg mould?

Also, the fly one is that the fly goes 0 miles in the hour.
The fly can only go 50 mph,the fly`s starting train goes 60 mph.THe fly can`t move fast enough,so it stays on the windscreen, muttering,"It`s a helluva way to run a railroad"
I got that from the book Brain Stretchers!

He was caught cheating at cards, and killed. (I've read the Mortons' Fork thread, from a long time ago.)

Sorry. Force of habit to answer riddles, if I know the answer. (I didn't really think of it that way)

I have a few:

There are 3 switches outside a room with a closed door and no windows, and inside the room is a light. You may only go inside the room once. How do you figure out which switch controls the light?

There are 25 prisoners on an island (like Alcatraz) and one prison master. The prisonmaster says "Every day i will bring one random person out of you guys to a room with two switches which each have 2 settings, in which once you are there you may only flip one of them once. I will let you go free when you guys know that you all have come here at least once." How do the 25 prisoners get off the island?

Well, close enough. It was "android".

Method 1: Go in, make the door not close, fiddle with the switches.
Method 2: Ask your pal to w8 outside. Go in. Your buddy will fiddle with the switches, and you shout when the light switches. Well, no indication was the room being soundproof...
Method 3: ask my college to go in and out of the room. (s)he has no restriction on the occasions of going in.

Here I'll assume:
- the PM announces this at a collective gathering
- the Ps can communicate with each other.
So, independently from the switch and randomness, they just have to tell all the others when they were in the room. Voila, they are out.

New riddle:

I change you.
I don't change you.
I change your children.
I don't change your children.
I come by time, I come by children
I am change.

I come when change come.
I can kill you and I can make you survive.
In my eyes ****roaches and humans are equal.
I am the wind which creates a skyscraper.
What am I?

Chuck Norris?
I have no idea. But i have a riddle of my own.

A man goes out drinking every night, returning to his home in the wee hours of every morning. No matter how much he drinks, he never gets a hangover. This drink is very well known, but is rarely consumed, served warm and taken straight from its source. The man is a sucker for a free drink, especially since he can't live without it. What is his favorite drink?

The answer should be time. Edit: Hold on... I'm wrong, as you did say, "I come by time" meaning that the answer can't be time. Well, I'll think about it some more.
