It really depends on the game. Some yes, some no.

I'm pretty sure most of the games come with an option to turn off the music and sfx in the game screen. You can also do it in the right-click menu(sometimes) or in-game settings. Usually, the buttons are in the form of a music note and a speaker in one of the screen corners.
