Problem with playing games

Every time I try to play a game it comes up with "A plug-in (Shockwave Flash) isn't responding" It only gives me the option to stop the plug in, and no matter what game I try to play it doesn't work. I tried going to other sites and playing flash games, but they worked perfectly. I even went into about://plugins and made sure that was working.

I am using Google Chrome on a Windows XP, I updated Adobe Flash and restarted afterwards to check if it would work. To no avail. Could I get some help with this?

1. Type in the address bar chrome://settings/content

2. Scroll down to Plug-ins option then select Click to play

3. Finally click Done.
After that go to the game and cick on the game's screen to run it if it doesn't work try reinstalling chrome the newest update from here:

Thanks Jonathen, steps 1, and 2 worked. I didn't have to reinstall, and everything's fine now. Thanks a ton!
