I have everything except the last battle trait and... the slow scroll.

What field it it in? There are three open fields on my map right now, with my luck it will be in the last one I try.

It's on K6, which is actually pretty early. Are you sure you didn't miss it?

The last battle trait gets unlocked after you finish the game on X5.

i never use the blue gem. (until now)

i think it makes only sense against swarmlings which are no problem at all.

Nope, it's essential when you do a manafarm - it helps (together with permafreeze) keeping lots of monsters above your farming gem.

hmm, maye with powerful blue gems which reduce the speed by 50% for 5 seconds or more ....

but 20% for 2 seconds doesn't make a big difference me thinks.

just created a grade 5 blue for testing: -45% for 2 seconds. cost 2.760 mana.
i'm not convinced that that's very effective for me at this stage.
but i don't know how higher grade blue gems + blue gem skill work.

do you put the blue gem component in the trap, too ?

if not, when the monsters are freezed and a blue gem fires at them,
will the time count down after the freeze or during ?

Blue gems are also extremely helpful in other ways. Besides their slowing, they do some of the best damage of all the gems. With the blue gem skill, you get really good slowing stats at Grade 7 or above.

While I'm not at manafarm level yet, I have combined them with poison in bolt-enhanced traps, and I often combine them with purple, yellow, white, or black.

Ah, I did miss it! I thought I cleared it but had one field left right before blue.

Yes, blue is VERY helpful in manafarms. 90% slow keeps monsters over the trap a lot longer, makes a huge difference.

I'm glad you found it, though I'm guessing you have to finish much of the game and be pretty high level before you can really implement mana farms.

I was at 100 when I ran my first just after getting the blue, jumped me to 180. Going to run another now.
