Yep! 512 Spec in order to go along with 1024 combine amps!

Here's my start...anyone see a way to improve this portion(all I currently have)...this time I'm testing each row of gems before moving to the next.

Current dilemmas-

1. First line 31 gems = 19.98 leech. 30 gems = 19.65 leech. Which is better?

The rudimentary formula for the first... 65 gems.

128Spec 69 Orange 59 Black = N+6

512Spec 276 Orange 236 Black = N+8

O = orange.
B = black
# = Line # in the format(example of how it will be posted as)
N+X = Current gem grade(this case = 1) plus 1-8 grades(512Spec will end with either N+8 or N+7)
UsedInLine = How many gems used in the current line.
Left = Out of 512 how many gems can be used still in the formula.
X Leech = Leech of the gem at end of the current line.
+0.XXX/ HL = Amount increase per hit level of gem at end of line.

Example: Line 4, N+3 = it results in G4, (9) = 9 gems used in line 4, (447) gems left, 56(orange), 9(black).

SECOND EDIT: Decided to post gem special stats after each line.

Rules for Gem Stats - For a X+(x+x), etc thing, where Capital X = number line, the gem stats shown are the current line plus Line X.

Also, for example, 3. (x+x), then the stats shown are for line 3's result only.

For the total stats refer to the lines with #. (#+#) where # is a number line.

So, examples - Line 2 = line 1+2 and has 22.74 leech. Line 3 is line 3 only and has 10.75 leech, +0.269/HL. Line 5 is line 2+4 and is the current final with 24.52 leech and +0.253/HL.

About improving the current gem - I think its easily possible, the bloodbound takes large hits but this portion is orange-orient gem so it's not too bad, but by tweaking the order of operations I can probably leech about +0.01-0.02 hit level more.

Okay, the test isn't exactly accurate because I messed up on the 1024c and missed adding like 2 gems(SERIOUSLY). But with those amps they're almost equal(128 ahead by 0.5%) and at even 135 hits, the 512 is ahead by 1.2% already.

Mission? Success. Now to refine.

Just some food for thought ... when psorek updated his 32 spec managem to make use of the 64c amps, his ratio was 24black to 8orange (he replaced one black with a red to provide the necessary chain hit).

For a 512spec gem, that same ratio would be about 384 to 128.

I don't know whether that ratio is optimal, or if (given how many gems are in that sucker) something more heavily skewed towards black would be better, or if something closer to even, such as your initial gem, is best.

Yeah, I aimed for a midpoint between the 128-s ratio and 32-s ratio(128s is 69 orange 59 black, 32s is 3/4 black 1/4 orange exactly).

So I ended up about 2/5 orange 3/5 black.

Now I will edit and tailor this formula using the current ratio more or less.

When psorek came up with the initial 32 spec gems, they were produced either as standalones, or with the mana leech/critical hit provided by 16c amps. That's why he revamped the 32 spec managem for 64c amps.

That 128 spec managem is similarly designed for 16c starting amps. Unless they've posted something somewhere on that github that I did not notice, neither psorek nor ieee have generated 128 spec gems designed around the manaleech/critical hit of the 64c amps. And the difference in total manaleech in a gem, between starting with 16c and using 64c upgrade, and simply using 64c upgrade from the start, is not insignificant.

Long story short : the more mana leech you get from your amps, the more you can emphasize black in the managem.
