Welcome to Survive the Event! - Recruiting

In this soon-to-be RPG you will be putting your survival skills to the test to prove your merit. You and the other active users will be fighting, foraging, hunting, and crafting for your very life. Your goal is to remain as alive and healthy as you can, both mentally and physically! Enjoy the cooperative play with competetive scoring, have fun and good luck!
- Survive with Me.

This RPG has been in progress for a few months now. A lot of thought has gone into it but it is not at completion. I have the structure already completed, I just need help with proof-reading, story, and final touches. All ideas/questions/criticism welcome. I only require open-minded, committed, polite people to get this started!

APPLY TO THESE POSITIONS:

Players create characters, reply to stories, and can offer ideas/criticism.

A Leader acts as a Moderator. They proof-read posts, enforce rules, and help moniter activity. They can also be Players.

A Captain creates story, manages characters, and writes on the RPG's behalf. They cannot play the game.

In total there are FIVE "Cards" which document all information necessary for your Character. You will only be using ONE - The "Character Card". The rest are for the "Leaders", "Captains", and Myself.

Each player will have a "Character Card" that will be placed in each of their posts. It contains their basic character information and progress.
Here's what one will look like:

LEVEL: x / EXPERIENCE: y
NAME, AGE, WEIGHT, HEIGHT
GENDER, BUILD
Basic Description.*
*Required only in your FIRST post.

Example:
LVL: 0 / EXP: 0
Lars, 21, 165lb, 6'1"
Male, Athletic
Short, Red hair. Fair skin. Blue eyes.

Now that we have a character let's make him/her unique by creating a "Stats Card"!

Allotted Spending Points: 10

Here's what a completed Stats Card will look like:

Conditioning: 5 (3 points)
Dexterity: 3 (1 point)
Intelligence: 3 (1 point)
Resolve: 4 (2 points)
Strength: 5 (3 points)

Each Stat starts at 2.
( X points ) = points spent*
*Not needed when you make yours

The "Conditions Card" shows how your character is doing and feeling. Here's what's in it:

Positive Scaling Conditions:
(These continuously rise in value)
Fatigue
Hunger
Thirst

Keep these at 0!

Negative Scaling Conditions:
(These constantly lose value)
Rest
Wit
Morale

Keep these at 100!

Neutral Scaling Conditions:
(These fluxtuate value)
Disease
Injury
Mood

Keep these at 50!

Here's what a perfect Condition Card looks like:

+Fatigue: 0 (+/-)*
+Hunger: 0 (+/-)
+Thirst: 0 (+/-)
-Rest: 100 (+/-)
-Wit: 100 (+/-)
-Morale: 100 (+/-)
~Disease: 50 (+/-)
~Injury: 50 (+/-)
~Mood: 50 (+/-)

*The (+/-) will either be a "+" to signify a gain in value or a "-" to signify a loss.

The "Inventory Card" will keep track of the items you are carrying (Personal) and the items you have stored (Storage). Here's the breakdown:

Personal Inventory
Capacity: 'x' pounds / 'y' units*
Consumables:
(e.g food, drink)
Tools:
(e.g spear, knife)
Craftables:
(e.g wire, rock, wood)
Miscellaneous:
(e.g photo, currency)

Storage
Capacity: 'y' units
Consumables:
Tools:
Craftables:
Miscellaneous:

*The weight of an object ('x') and it's volume ('y') are both factors in carrying capacity.

The final Card is the "Experience Card". The "Experience Card" outlines your current experience total, your level, and your skills.
Here experience points, skill points, and level points are earned:

Level Points: LP
(Earned by Leveling Up)
Spend LP on Stats to raise their value.
Experience Points: EP
(Earned by completing tasks, battles, or objectives)
Spend EP on Skills to raise their effectiveness)
Skill Points: SP
(Earned by raising a Skill level)
Spend SP on Items and Gear to raise their effectiveness)

Skills:
~Survival
- Foraging
- Trapping
- Hunting
~Comfort
- Building
- Crafting
- Cooking
~Battle
- Accuracy
- Adeptness
- Cunning
~Exploration
- Jumping
- Climbing
- Paddling

There are five "Levels of Understanding" in each skill:
None, Basic, Average, Keen, Master. The higher the level, the more effective the skill becomes, increasing it's benefits.

Sure thing! Did you want to be a Player, Leader, or Captain?
Leaders act as Moderators.
Captains act as Admins.
Leaders can be Players, Captains cannot.

It would be appreciated if any one would be interested in helping moderate and overlook the RPG as well.

I'll join as player. How long did it take you to make that intro?

Not quite sure what you mean by the intro but everything here was the product of at least a week or two. I keep a pocket sized notebook on me and scratch all my ideas down on it!

Explain to me the different rolls of player, captain and leader and I'll join.

Players cooperate with each other to survive. Players might not start with each other and may also never be able to reach each other. Players are scored at the end of the Event session (maybe 1 week) and the Player who scores the most points wins the Event!

A Leader acts as a Moderator. They proof-read posts, enforce rules, and help moniter activity. They can also be Players.

A Captain creates story, manages characters, and writes on the RPG's behalf.

I'll update the OP to contain this information.

I'm going to wait for any possible Captains or Leaders. I will work on your stories in the meantime guys! If none come I will still start but have a very small player base.
