Slightly hurried judging, sorry about that. I ran out of time and then realised I had to do it now otherwise it wouldn't get done for a while...
So lets see, we have 10...no wait 9 entries. This is the most that we have had in a long while...and I am very happy for that!

In the end I don't get this entry. Maybe that is because I am a little slow at times, but I just don't get it. My apologies if it is really simple.
Nice entry though, the Shelgon part is well drawn. Colour would be nice....
First Place - Zophia
Ahh, don't you just hate it when you step in gum...especially while you are barefooted. Pokemon must suffer this a lot more that humans, mainly because they don't have shoes...and trainers probably chew a lot of gum.
On the entry, this looks very good Zoph. I like the edge work with the lines; it looks very effective. Also, the Shelgon is well drawn, which I have come to expect from you.
Well done on the win Zoph, you get to pick the next pokemon...(although you probably know that anyway...)
Second Place - Cholokid (Le Mastera de camuflage)
This one made me lol! Wait, who stole my wallet? Nice Entry cholo....I think the hat is a nice touch.
Wait...its five days since I started judging...I mustn't have finished fast enough...
Third Place - AG_King
Nice job AG_King! I think that your Shelgon is the closest to the original pokemon. The shadow effects look good and the face is very cute.
Keep trying, I see a possible first place for you in future.

The Distorted Shadow Award - Zega
I don't know if you realised Zega, but the shadow of ur shelgon is slightly larger than the shelgon and in many directions. Good try though! Next time, when you are working on shadow, try and imagine where the light source is and then work out how the shadow should be based on how they are irl.
Keep trying, you will get to first one day...and your shelgons expression is priceless.

The Hedgehog Lauch Rival Award - Pixie214
Nice entry Pixie...although the Shelgon looks kinda evil...and aerodynamically he should be hanging by his front feet because there is nothing attached to his back feet...
I can see a new rival for hedgehog launch - Angry Shelgon Launch...and the main difference is that you have to annoy Ash and the other main characters like Team Rocket do so that you can 'Blast off.' Such an overused plot device.

Well I don't really understand the sushi part of the text, I do however understand the Team Rocket catch-cry...so I will mindlessly blabber about how your Shelgon has only three legs.
The poor little fella...he would have such a bad life...he could never play with the other Pokemon because he would fall over...and end up rolling down a hill into the ocean. Where he drowned. Such a sad life for the Rare Three Legged Shelgon (mainly rare because they don't stay alive long enough to mate...)
