So I used to play fairly regularly, but decided to take a break shortly before the game was recently updated, hoping for it's final release elsewhere. However I decided to come back and have some fun.

While digging back through threads to get up to date I cleared all the maps on haunting + vision maps(V7 was a nightmare) simply for the skill points(earning over 50k shadowcores was nice too), but now that I've finished I'm going back to endurance running. Before I do however, I have a few questions I couldn't exactly find answers to, and was hoping to get some help.

1. I understand permafreeze is no longer a thing. I was curious what the new strategy for manafarming is. Previously it was impossible to get enough mana to finish an endurance run without it because of the insane gem levels needed for the killgem and how much you had to enrage waves to stay alive on your manafarm. Essentially, how do you keep monsters put in order to generate the needed mana, or how do you generate enough mana to keep up with the waves regardless?

2. Talisman farming? I saw this mentioned in another thread, but didn't see a concrete answer. Used to be Y6 was great for this, but now with hatred I'm not sure if it can be done quickly, instead of becoming another endurance run. With everything set up for previous drop dates, you're looking at around 260 waves iirc. Either way, was just curious what other's experiences are in regards to talisman farming now.

3. Skill priority. Now that some skills are uncapped, I find myself unable to decide exactly what to prioritize with leveling up. What order, what proportions of skills/mana, ect. I don't think I can really afford to now, of course, only having 24k starting mana.

4. Is it impossible to earn over 1bn exp on a given map? I've seen people say they've earned higher, but all of my records show exactly 1bn exp on my highest scored maps, even if previously I had done better.

Edit: Also, just curious if previous gem recipes are still up to date and usable or did they also get updated?

4) All you previous scores are capped to 1 bil. on save conversion, but after the conversion you can go as high as you desire (the current record is nearly 3 tril.)

5) The combining coefficients didn't change, so the old recipes could still work, but it turned out it was possible to do better than the recipes you had several months ago.

I'm also curious about what the current techniques for mana-farming and endurance runs are now. Most of the videos and info I've found are for techniques that worked before the update or for people who are WL 10k or higher. Is there anything out there for the current version of GC for low WL players. Trying to get promoted has been trying since most of the endurance runs I've been doing don't net much more than 750m to 1bn experience which gets you about 100-200 levels.
