This forum's BB Code is explained in the BB Code Guide. One of the most commonly used BB Code features is the ability to make a link like I just did, and the guide that the link links to explains how to do that.

A recent forum update has allowed Youtube videos to be embedded without using BB Code to turn them into links. If you try link to a Youtube video the normal way,

You cannot play the video that way. If you want it to be playable, all you have to do is paste the link without encoding it.
