Check under your settings if you have clicked the option for completely removing the global chat bar. Or you may have accidentally hid the chat bar, if that's the case, there's a small button at the bottom right of the page labelled ''show chat''.
Yeah its still missing witout any signs
Got nothing Im blocking that i can think of, I use firefox at home, and at work google chrome with no add ons, neiter one of them have chat since friday (it was working at work, but not after I got home)
