You enter sanctuary. You're in the wide open terrain. You're on the main spawn platform- a large Quartz circular pad. In front of you are tutorial NPCs, some players talking to said NPCs, and a large quest board, along with a number of players scanning it. Tacked on next to it is an odd-jobs board, containing only small requests from players. Into the distance are a couple of player groups chatting, not only about battle tactics, but also about real life. You turn around and see the massive sculptures of the netkings, the administrators of the game. You don't remember their names, but from left to right, they look like: A mechanic with a mechanical arm, an angel who is complete with a halo, a chess king with detached hands, a crystaline figure, and a humanoid mushroom. A pair of boots are on either side of the set of statues, as though the actual figures were broken off. Where to?

In front of you lies the vast, open terrain of Sanctuary, containing small campfires, NPCs abound, and player groups chatting about battle strategies and real world drama. There's a large quest board to the right, with a small player based odd jobs board next to it. On your left are lots of NPCs, who are most likely there to tell you about the game.

You head into the massive tournament center. There isn't a tournament going on now, but the posters outside announce a round robin style tournament coming up. Inside is the preparation rooms, the grand spectator hall, the stands, and the round platform surrounded by a bottomless pit that makes up the ring. It takes you about half an hour to tour the whole thing.

There's a vauge low level boss quest, a detailed escort quest for an NPC merchant, and a player request to help him kill a higher level player. Everything else is too high level for you.

"Well, charms and bracelets are unique items in this world. You can have two bracelets and ten charms, but only one of any named item. For example, you can't have more then one "Zoya's concealer", but you can have more than one "Shadow drawer". To enhance bracelets, you need an etherical stone of equal rank. To enhance charms, if applicable, you need 2 other charms of the same rank to sacrifice. Aside from that, some charms need activated before use, by way of unique spell, but they come later." it pauses for a second. "Be on your way, and remember your knowledge."
