AIM does not mean aim, AIM is a way to chat with other people, like msn or something, even if you know that, please put on your account what your AIM is. I have one and i want to have some of you join my AIM.

many people realize this. But not all choose to use it for the direct purpose. Many do not have AIM and choose to put their 'aim' or goal in life, the site, or school. I see no problem with this. It helps distinguish who is unique :P

Its just a tradition on the site. Personally, I have an AIM (instant messenger), but I would rather put an aim (goal) in there because it is more creative. People understand that it means instant messenger, they just choose to do it differently.

Yup, that's what I do. I don't really use my AIM account, so why the point of putting it on?

Sincerely,
