Maybe like deviantart, they should have a mascot that has smileys based off o that. In order to be original.

i think this is in the sticky...but i know where to get over 2000 smileys :P so adding a lot wouldn't be a problem...

Yes, that would be very "cool". It would save alot of time tping out these (:P ) and give alot more variety.

^_^ I like the idea, although you can make smileys with characters as well :P

I like the idea of a smily system. Would be fun, but could tend to a lot spam (ex. people who send 10 smilys in a row) Though the idea should not be very hard to complete. They are made by codes just like bold fonts and so (ex. [#1] [#2] etc.) Could also be a button by the Quoute button that pop's up a list of smilys as you click on it, just like on chat programs like Msn and Yahoo!

I think that this should be considered.
