Search google for Game Maker, or Torque. Torque is better since you can make games for the xbox too.

I will try Adobe but i use the game maker from yoyogames.com it is not the most beautiful but it presents a chalenge.

Sorry, but go to www.yoyogames.com/make like i said it is not pretty but it is free and fun.
