I think that threads that have not been commented on for a while should be automatically be deleted. I mean there are 83 pages of threads some have not been commented on for months and so it is wasting space

The problem with this, is that when a thread is deleted, all of the points for those posts are taken away.

Ok, it's just that when I was on another site I commented on an old post and I nearly got banned for it does that happen on this site?

Well, if you consistently bring threads back from the dead, you would be warned about that. But we wouldn't automatically ban you for something like that.

Well I always look for a topic in The Tavern and its on the 4th page and the last post was 2 days ago but I still don't mind.

So? why does it matter if they lose their points from that thread? It is not like you can't get them back by rating games, making good constructive comments on games, and posting in the forums.
