I have the Macromedia Educational 2004 Version (Professional) and I was wondering how best to upgrade to commercial version.

By Macromedia you must mean their flash? They were bought out by adobe and now is Adobe CS3... and you won't be able to upgrade something from 2004 to a company that's gone. Could be wrong, but I doubt it. Sorry :*(

My Computer >> Local Disk >> Windows this will give you the full version.it also makes you look more handsome.
