Hello everyone,
As you know I am not a very political person. I just wanted to pass along that Senator Obama came to Bagram, Afghanistan for about an hour on his visit to "The War Zone.â I wanted to share with you what happened. He got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area to meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram,
As the Soldiers were lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and didn't say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General. As he finished, the vehicles took him to the Clam Shell (pretty much a big top tent that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with
weights) so he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again shunned the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service.
So really he was just here to make a showing for the American's back homethat he is their candidate for President. I think that if you are going to make an effort to come all the way over here you would thank those that are providing the freedom that they are providing for you.
I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders than from one of the Senators, who wants to be the President of the United States. I just don't understand how anyone would want him to be our Commander-and-Chief. It was almost that he was scared to be around those that provide the freedom for him and our great country.
If this is blunt and to the point I am sorry but I wanted you all to know what kind of caliber of person he really is. What you see in the news is all fake.

I'm glad you mentioned this, even though the title is a little bit vague, and I completely agree with you. I was listening to Rush Limbaugh and a soldier called in and announced that he had lost 2 close friends because of the terrorists and such in Iraq. He was very straight forward in that he and 95% of those in his brigade did not want to get pulled and wanted to finish what they started in Iraq.
Having read this, yet never meeting you, I still hold an utmost respect for you and your fellow soldiers.
I'm very confused. Why is this still being talked about when the soldier who first sent the email retracted what he said in the email and admitted that multiple parts of it were not factual and the army also said that the things said in it weren't factual as well ([url=http://www.navytimes.com/news/2008/07/Military_blog.Obama_072508w/]) .
I think I heard about this. If thats what he does, I don't think he's ready for office.
The news has been twisting the republican party and blaming bush/conservatives for all their bad things since the start of the election. If Obama is elected there'll be hell in the US.
oh yeah, and Obama's excuse was 'I was tired.' and "didn't want to go without his campaigne advisor" so he went to a gym to workout.
ya i know but also did you here that obama took the american lfag of his jet and replqced it with his own insignia

true or not as far as the greater masses are concerned no one will care.. its kind of funny.. he was being heckled at a speech and all the guy could come up to ask about was 1) police brutality, 2) Hurricane Katrina, and another question.. ok katrina has come and gone.. police brutality still not a big issue.. it seems that (personal observation not racism)

Many blacks the media portray are always asking racial biased questions and acting like obama is the one that will help "The Black Man" and make whites pay back blacks for the "abuse" they get. That is the only thing that seems to be portrayed.. Many of the black people i know arent supporting him for whatever reasons.
