The whole conflict started with Russia attacking civilians.  If indeed Russia makes this an official war against Georgia, then for sure it would prove to be Georgia's demise.

I was really expecting some dumb kid going ape **** thinking Russia was invading Georgia the State.  I'm Glad thats not the case.

I think Russia has seen how horrible the War in Iraq and Afghanistan has been going for the USA and now they're considering the US weak and making a powerplay to reinstate themselves as a world power again.

I wonder what the UN thinks of these new developments. If this is going to become an official war, then Russia timed it very well. Controversial elections, an increasingly unpopular war, a lame duck in the White House, and season 3 of America's Got Talent. We'll be paralyzed.

This doesn't surprise me at all.Russia had just rebuilt their army not too long ago.I had a feeling they were going to use it eventually.They just never seem have enough land for their power hungry government do they.Still its interesting to know there is a country named Georgia.
