Do not fear. If there is a war that would be waged in our lands, they would have to attack swiftly and suddenly. They would have to attack us will a HUGE force. Come on, its hard to not notice a huge force coming at us.

Hey, it's just the truth. If someone invaded my country, I wouldn't just stand there and hand it to them.

Russia didn't choose when this war was to happen. It was Georgia who invaded Ossetia, and the Russians were apparently allies or something with them.I think mainly they supported Ossetia becoming independent or something, and Georgia didn't want that,so this is the end result of all of that.In a way Georgia started the war,not Russia. So no Russia is not planning anything.

That's not actually true, the area in question was part of Georgia which had a large amount of support for Russia and had more or less been running itself independently since 1992. If I understand correctly, separatists in that area (which the rest of the world views as Georgian territory) were launching artillery into other parts of Georgia who in turn sent in troops to stop the attacks after offering a cease fire. Then the Russians who have been building up troops on the border for the last several months moved in with troops, heavy armor, and bombing runs, all of which apparently has been planned for some time.
