Gibsons. Every of our best guitarist used the Gibsons. Fenders are okay but eh. Why do you always make these topics Chef?

Of course Gibson will win, but I have a Fender myself. An American Strat, and very expensive haha. Just as good playwise as a Gibson, just a bit less.

I guess it matters what kind of tone you want.

Also, Fenders sound like Bender and we don't want him as a guitar. Also, Gibsons got more style and it always has that new guitar smell.

Well, I play hard rock and metal with my Fender (Which doesn't really fit) but I have a real nice Line6 amp, so my Fender works fine with it. I'm also saving up for an Ibanez which is probably better for my style of play.

I had a Ibanez as my firt 2 guitars. Be careful some of them a the strap lock slip out of the holes.

Slash and Zakk Wylde play Gibson Les Pauls but Jimi Hendrix and Steve Vai play Fenders.

well, gibson makes high quality high priced guitars, while fender is usually associated with less costly guitars. oh, and fender basses own gibson basses any day

Jackson. Made for speed and very easy to handle. Mine has a neck that's literally half the average thickness. Makes playing it so much easier. They also don't make cheap guitars. They tend to be expensive.

I say gibsons.

It really does depend on whether you want to spend more money or not. Gibsuns are obviously better.

I have a Peavey (just started guitar). It isn't that great, requires more fingure strenth than a more expensive one, but hey, it was cheap.

It's definitely Gibson for guitars, but Fender makes the best basses.
