I think oblivion and um a final fantasy 7 are the best rpgs yet to me at least

Hero RPG is Good too ,I've heard, I personally didn't like it.
world of warcraft is definetly not the best it sux but i think warlords battlecry 3 is a good rpg/strategy mix
definetly Oblivion but under that is Final Fantasy 7
Neverwinter Nights and Neverwinter Nights 2 were great games, if you like turn-based strategic fighting. IMO MMORPG's are very addictive, so I try to stay away from them.
Oblivion takes the cake with me.
