Telling spammers to "stop" is just going to get them to do it more. We just need to ignore them, and if it gets to be too much, then tell a mod or an admin.
LIKE I SAID, telling spammers to stop doesn't help, and telling a mod about it just wastes your and the mod's time. It isn't worthwhile to go around looking for spammers to tattle on.
I love reading hypocritical thread like this... you are all reiterating each other, and while it doesn't *look* like spam, it really kind of is. Plus, there's a post above that talks about what to do with spam, so this whole thread is a bit unnecessary.
In summation: Read stickies. If you see a spammer, let a moderator know. You can tell the spammer, too, as long as you are not spamming them, and are the first one to tell them.
