Ya, why wouldn't it be? Personally, I've never had a GF, close, but no cigar. My friend says that he doesn't care. If you best friend cares that you're dating his Ex, obviously he still feels for her, and he got screwed. Also, I'd make sure she is not just using you to get back at him. I learned that the hard way. Listen to this though. My way is to not look for a gf, but to wait until you find someone you truly care about. If you intentionally look for love, you have a pretty good chance to get in a bad/abusive relationship. I just keep my stone rolling, and hope to find the one.

I'd tell her to back off in your case, if you have a gf, but that's just me. I think that going out/ dating another girl if you already got one is a little shady.
