Interesting,but whats with the colors of the names in the second idea?

That would be a pretty cool addition!

this would be placed under the last post but above the reply box.

I made them light blue to match the color of links. The could be links, or just grey names. It isn't up to me. I just like this idea.

I think that those are awesome ideas and should be initiated.

not that hard. similar to the online users box. At most this is a solid 4-5 days worth of work to put into play.

then scroll south about 46 1/2 miles till you hit the bottom. See the "Online Users" That's what i what to implement on the last post of each thread. So it will show who is viewing the thread. Then the first idea was for the categories...to tell how many are indeed viewing the overall "category"

i think if this does become reality , i think it will make the forums more active in the way of conversation, rather than waiting hours for someone else to browse through, you know where people are and so would reply,etc .
