I swear this thread gives me hope in humanity again.  I don't even care what you're reading (like someone mentioned Earagon, which I read and thought was HORRIBLE, but it doesn't even matter) what matters is THAT you're reading.  I sometimes think I"m the only person who knows what a novel is for chirst's sake.

World War Z, by Max Brooks. It's about how mankind battles a Zombie uprising across the planet. It's by the same author as The Zombie Survival Guide.

Just finished "A Hero of Our Time".

Wasn't bad, i'm actually really liking my LA teacher's choices this year (i love IB, since he gets to choose.)  This certainly wasn't as good as All Quiet on The Western Front, but it was interesting.  Getting to peer into the mind of the most uncaring, sinister person you'll ever read about keeps it entertaining.
