Many people type words such as like and the as liek and teh because they type so fast the accidently hit the "h" a quarter of a second before they hit the "e" key.

People who accidently switch letters around normally are just typing fast. Sort of like when you accidently spelled misspelling with an extra "l".

With the topic of spelling things 'liek' and 'teh' if they are meant to be on purpose then they can usually be determined as purposeful.

For Example:

I went to teh Shops.
This is obviously a key mistake.

I liek teh mudkipz
Obviously, this person has intended to write like this, for sake of grammatical errors and for 'teh lolz.'

Basically, a low form of humour! :P xD
