Honestly now, why is everyone faking this quitting thing? talking about spam and how everyone is just in it for the points, NOT TRUE. tons of people only rate games for the sake of remembering which games have been played and which games havent. me included, and when people talk to thier friends, who cares about points...this place is just for playing games and talking to friends and people with common intrests. As far as im concerned, people who have any comments about quitting on thier profile should be banned. i doubt anyone even cares that your quitting anyway.
Why? I think that's truly the most pointless idea I've read to date. Well, there was that idea about deleting ghost accounts. But this really cuts the cake. Who honestly cares if they have comments regarding quitting on their profile? Don't pay attention to their melodramatic nonsense and just focus on how to make AG yourself.
If anything, people talking to friends is a bigger concern -- I just wish 0 AP were awarded since it really inflates points and ranking BUT THEN AGAIN, we're all in it for the games (I'm sure >.>
Yes having your account deleted for that makes no sense at all. They may come back again. Also, it is ok to play and rate games, whether all of them or none of them.

Heh, that was my idea. I didn't realize that you hated it that much, it was just an idea! Wah!
Anyway, people have suggested this before, and there just isn't a point to it. What do we have to gain from deleting accounts? It just discourages people from coming back.
