So The rules and ideas: The idea for this topic is basicly a writing form of telephone. I will write the first part of the story then who ever wishes may right the next part and so on.

Rules: NO cussing. Sorry but this is a clean site and even if you think it is better for the story please do not. Please try to go along with the storyline, but if you must stray go ahead.

Here is the story:

It was a windy, cold night in Chicago and Avery was siding out side listening to the sound of trees swaying. It was quite for the first time in hours. Avery was happy just to be away from her parents, but she knew she would have to go back soon. She sighed and looked up at the sky, millions of small dots shown down. The wind settled around her, stopping there constant motion for the moment. The stars look so different to nightâ¦so calm. Avery closed her eyes taking in the night, then through them open. As her eyes again, she focused on a star that was so bright and shining, that it seems it didnât belong to this world. If I could have one wish what would it be...? Avery thought for a moment then said âI wish I could be anywhere else but hereâ she said then laughed at her foolishness. She was too old to believe in wishing stars. She looked at the star one more time before closing her eyes. Suddenly a thought came to her, so completely unbelievable she had to say it out loud âit shines like moonlightâ in her mind it sounded ridicules but out loud, it seem almost true. She let the thought drift away as she fell into a fit full sleep. The wind around her suddenly picked up, and whorled ever so hard that it knocked Avery out of her chair waking her. She looked around frightened, she tried to push her self away from the wind but the vortex was to strong. Avery sat straight up in her chair and looked around, âit was just a dreamâ she said with a relived sigh. but as she looked closer she realized that things were different, the calm park she had been sitting in was now surrounded with tall crumbling buildings only a small patch of grass was left, but even that was old and brown.

Very nice beginning, I hope someone picks it up.
And that, if they do, they don't copy/paste text from Word. I think that's what's causing the unknown symbols?
Anyway. I hope it takes off.

It's really good, but there are grammar and spelling mistakes half way through it. I lost what was going on. If it was cleaned up a bit, I think more people would write the next part. I know I would.

She looked around frightened, she tried to push her self away from the wind but the vortex was to strong. Avery sat straight up in her chair and looked around, "it was just a dream" she said with a relived sigh. But as she looked closer she realized that things were different, the calm park she had been sitting in was now surrounded with tall crumbling buildings only a small patch of grass was left, but even that was old and brown. The smell of beer, old oil, and death was so strong Avery had to hold her nose. Avery jumped out of her chair, but just stood there. Where was she? This is surly not the same place or is it? Avery looked around once again the closer she looked the more she realized, this is the same place just older, like it had aged a 50 years in 5 seconds. More buildings had been built and destroyed, from what looked like a couple of small bombs. That thought didn't make her feel any better she still didn't know what had happened here, then once again the wind picked up. Avery suddenly heard voices cared by the wind I wish I could be anywhere but hereâ¦..anywhere. No Avery thought there is no such thing as wishing stars. The wind swirled around her, filling her ears with the words tell it blocked out ever other thought. "OK" screamed the wind died down to a slight whine. "I get it I get it you brought me her" the wind picked up swirling violently knocking her to her feet this is insane I am talking to wind "ok you didn't bring me her" she looked up and pointed to the stars "they did the moonlight star brought me her" the wind relaxed again silently agreeing with her. Avery sighed; she pushed the sanity out of her mind. If she dwelled on the fact that she was talking to wind and that supposedly a star took her to an unknown landâ¦â¦she would get no wear. Right now it seemed like the most logical thing to do was play along whether it was a dream or not thisâ¦wind seemed to know what she was supposed to do. "so where am I, well actually if this is really the same place the I think I should as when am I?" the wind picked up just a little sending papers that had been sitting in the ally, flying upward. One in particular came toward her. Once it settled at her feet, she bent down and picked up. The title read March 12th 3063.
