Thanks DM it was just a question I always get my merits fair and square but I was just wondering because a few time I come across games that I believe I have posted on but am not sure.

No you dont if you already get a merit from a game you can never get a merit from that game again............ But if you post a review that doesent get a merit and then 1 later that does get a merit that is fine.........

I have commented more than once on the same game a couple of times, not for points, but because I thought of something more to say about it... I hope no one thinks of that as spam.

You can one get one merit per game. If we find that anyone has earned more than one merit on a game, the second will be removed. You have the chance to repost a better comment later (although only do this once, repeated posting will be considered spam), and get a merit on it. But that is the only merit you can receive for that game.

Yes that is true, but not on the second time on a game. If you don't, would it be ok to revise it and try again (without spamming it)? Also the review must be well thought out and creative, while showing pros and cons about the game. Any that doesn't show these things may not get a merit.
