This might be a little off topic being that AG only does games, but I wasn't sure where else to ask this.

Are there any businesses out there that would sponsor flash animations?

It would probably be a significant reduction in how much money they would offer, but at least it would help me scrape together money for Flash CS3.

I think you can use MochiAds on just about any flash

It seems like they mostly sponsor games. I haven't found anything about animations, but I'll contact them to find out.

I checked out the FAQ and found this:

Is my game eligible to join MochiAds?

We accept Flash games in all languages, not just English. Currently MochiAds supports Flash 6 through Flash 10, with ActionScript 1, ActionScript 2 and ActionScript 3. We do not accept Flash content that is not a game (e.g., movies or tools) or games containing adult or mature content. For further information, please refer to our Developer Program Policies.

But thanks anyway. This is a good service to keep in mind for games, but, sadly, I believe that AG does not allow MochiAds in their games. Others might though.

Maybe try putting it on newgrounds or finding a new add/sponsor.

Maybe you could make an animation for someone else's game

I know that it is less common for flash animations to be sponsored, and those that are are usually really good. However I have seen animation sponsorships by Newgrounds, Flash Portal, Aniboom, and Atom Films.
