Launch problems Many users experienced problems finding available online games, as well as their Xbox 360 freezing whenever attempting to join an Xbox Live game. The official website was down not long after launch, with the developer blog being gone completely, due to flooding of Behemoth's server.[citation needed] In addition to multiplayer problems, the game can also occasionally suffer from corrupted save files, causing players to lose character progress. A temporary fix for the disappearing saves that works about 90% of the time is to sign out and sign back in once the game has started. In an interview with Joystiq, Tom Fulp and Dan Paladin of the Behemoth stated that they were working with Microsoft to get a patch released as soon as possible in order to fix the issues.[7] Currently the official website for Castle Crashers is flooded and Behemoth has released a statement saying, "Ummmm... Sorry, server is flooded with people right now!! We are working on the issue ". [6] GameTrailers.com gave it a 7.9. GameSpot awarded the game an 8.5 out of 10 and Over The Top Gamer.com gave it an 8.4 out of 10. In 2007, The Behemoth removed Castle Crashers from the Slamdance Guerrila Games Competition in response to Super Columbine Massacre RPG! being dropped from the competition after it was accepted as a finalist.[2] The Behemoth was not the only developer to remove their game. [3] The final soundtrack contains user created music submitted to Newgrounds' Audio Portal.[4] On May 16, 2008, The Behemoth announced that development was finished on the game.[5] Posted by CastleCrashing at 5:15 PM 0 comments Characters Green Knight - Can perform poisonous attacks. Some orbs find hidden fruit to restore health, whilst others aid in attacking the enemy. Running into an orb in a level replaces your current one, but all discovered orbs can be accessed prior to a level by visiting the vet found in the Blacksmith's area. The vet is also able to tell you what ability your current orb has. They can be found either within a level, or purchased from a store. Finding a weapon in a level swaps it with your current one, but all discovered weapons can be accessed prior to entering a level by visiting the blacksmith and entering the Weapons Frog. Each weapon has attributes that improve some stats but may reduce others. Some weapons also have a chance for a critical strike, or an elemental effect.
