there need to be more forums, like one for fan clubs or to just start a chatting thread where you talk about something on Armorgames. There are many more that I haven´t thought of but others might. This is where we tell them.
yes true..and what would the forum names be? no no club or clan forums.
Why? Because it allows a larger variety of posts. if they don´t make these forums, at least make an "armorgames offtopic" forum so we an write this kind of stuff.
More forums=More spam=More work for mods
thats one of the things i dont get, why dosent the site just have certain mods moderate certain forum sections?
Owen has a point with moderators checking only one or 2 forums. They do this at Kongregate too. The problem is(I think) is that there are few moderators on Armorgames. They would have to look for more, and they an´t decide rashly, it may be months before they pick anyone. But I like this!
The mods do a fine job. And most of them do just look around specific forums. For example you always find Moeg in the world issues forum whereas Strop is always in the arts and writing forum. Plus more forums is annoying. One of the attracting factors for me with armorgames was the little amount of forums, making my life easier, instead of trying to peruse 32 different categories.
I don't think mods will accept comedy forum. Many people make fun of religion and other things that insult people.I think the forums are already cool they way they are.Comedy can be forum games too!And more forums will be harder and more spammy.
instead of trying to peruse 32 different categories.
Too true, too true! I mean, in other forums, you have subsection after subsection after subsection, it's inane! For example: Offtopic --> Comedy --> Dark Comedy/Racial Comedy/etc. AG tends to simplify things under one banner, thus making it easier to navigate through the site and allowing users to post where appropriate...
Instead of getting: "YOU POSTED THIS IN THE WRONG FORUM. UTLM8 NUB"
Why create more threads when the ones we have are suffice? Most of the forums available do represent a majority of AG users interests, hobbies and tastes.
That is sort of what the Tavern is for. Just everything else that doesn't fit in the other categories (that isn't spam). So I don't really see the need when we have a place for those types of threads already.
