It usually updates when your not doing anything or you logout. So if you really want it to be updated just log out and log back in. It might not work though.

I used to have that problem and then i logged of.After while i had about 20 more posts that i posted but didn't show up

Posts in 0 AP forums (forum games and newcomers) do not get added to your post total. If you have been posting in these sections a lot, your post count is not going to go up much.
