Why not quote eddie13 so that he knows you're talking to him?

It could stop some confusion...but as Captain J said, just quote the post your talking to.

people do that. you just say @ (insert name here) or
to: (insert name here) It's not hard. or you can just quote the person. that's what I do.

Not o many people use the @ thing.

How about an "Answer this post" button under the post that adds the text to your reply box?

More of a "quote" button, but with a name that people will actually try it

This seems really redundant to our current quoting system. How would this really benefit? People should just be aware enough about their posting to not double post. And if they do it repeatedly, then it might be spam. They get in trouble. Banning happens. Problem solved.

But I don't see the benefit of trying to implement a new response system when the current one already addresses the issue. Just pay more attention to what you post.

It doesn't look like most people know what "Quote" does, or take the time to copy and paste someone post
