I've been trying for the past thirty minutes to get the Tiger Eyes by Banland (Thanks to the great guy who posted the list of the Treasure locations, by the way).

I've landed exactly where the X is at least seven times, did the landing process and searched - every time I come back with nothing. Any help, guys?

There is no dark crystal, restart the game until you don't get dark crystal as the artifact to find.
