Spam:
An unnecessary post or comment anywhere on AG.
Profile Spam:
â A comment under 5-7 words; such as: hi, add me, you're cool. â A comment you've seen on many profiles
Forum Spam:
â A topic named: Spam Here!, No Admins/Mods, Spamspamspam. â A topic that has turned into spam; with comments such as: lol, fail!, no, etc... *Telling another User they are spamming IS spamming*
Game Spam:
â A comment under 5-7 words; such as: 10/10, great, ^^, ... â A comment you've seen on many games *This is IMPORTANT, there is problems with Merit copying*
Q: Why is spam bad? A:Spam is bad because it slows down the site. With many unnecessary comments; it may be hard to find something important.
Q: How do I not Spam? A: [/i] Simple! By following the rules above.[/i]
Q: What do I do when I see Spam? A:You are going to use the Flag tool. The Flag tool is located across from the User's armatar and name (it is a red flag, quite obvious) *In severe situations, flag the comment then notify a Mod/Admin and/or SHOPS*
Q: What happens when someone spams severely? A:Well, they get warned by a Mod/Admin. If the Spammer continues, they may get another warning. If it still continues, they will get banned!
Q: Why would someone Spam? A:For personal gain. But the most common, is for AP (Armor points).
Most spamming on the site isn't intentional. But please, we implore you to not spam by following these guidelines and the others given here. By not Spamming, you can make AG an even more enjoyable place! So do your part, get rid of spam once and for all!
Yes, for a new person, he is doing a magnificent job. His topic needs some adjustments, but this is a good thread and (if there's not already one posted in the Mewcomer's section) should be stickied and moved to the Newcomer's Forum.
