Because people spammed AG with links to those sites. bitefight b-i-t-e-f-i-g-h-t does it too. I am assuming it is because all of those sites have these "game" functions where you get other people to click the links, and that earns you something in that game. Because the words are censored, the links do not work, and that's the best way the moderation team can deal with that sort of spam...
There's actually a fair bit more than those three, but I can't remember the rest.
Bite fight is censored too, probably because it is a non-AG game. You might find ad for the games, but you are not really allowed to advertise for them in the forums.
I think I've talked with Carlie about this, when she decided to censor out 'mindistortion'. She did it because people were spamming with links, not because of advertising. It got decensored when I told her MINDistortion.tv is a flash game site as well...
So I'm guessing, and I can do no more than guessing, that they are censored to prevent spam, not advertising. Though it may be both reasons.
I think p r o t r u d i n g o u t w a r d is some sort of pornographic phrase or something. I tried to use the second word with something different but it was censored out and I was embarrassed.
Actually, I happen to know that outwar (notice the d doesn't get censored) is some game site... And that it was censored because of the reasons I have already stated.
I'm pretty sure neither of those words are not related to pornography (and I do think I know enough about that stuff to say so with a decent certainty), though. Of course they can be used in that sort of relation, but... Yeah. 99% sure tat is not the reason.
Anyway, as long as it prevents spam or swearing, it is fine with me.
Bite fight and the like have the potential to be spam, since they have the nature of trying to lure people into the game, or lure people to click the link for the owner of a profile there to earn money or blood/meat. Much like "I take your soul" from mindistortion.
I would really love to see a list of all the censored words. But that is obviously hard to make, because, well, they get censored... I'd still like to know.
