Just wait a little time, then it will work. It is a common glitch, but fixable.

It takes a while for the system to updtate your age. It usually takes a day. I couldn't figure it out the first time and just left it alone and there it was the next day.

Yeah, just wait about a day and it will show up.
If it does not, just tell a Moderator.

it happened to me too, except my age was 2008, it's either the greatest or most annoying glitch ever.
