OK im just starting to program so correct me if im wrong. To make games do you just need a code compiler( and of course know how to use it) and a animation program?

you also need some way to put the 2 together (I'm just wringing it here) you also need a sponser (unless you have your own site) and time.

ok thanks. I thought that any compiler would work with any program. Thanks for clearing that up. Do you know of any free software that would work?
