That would be a great thing if we could do that. We can comment with them, but we can't have them on our profile...What's with that? (ooh ooh, one more idea... What if there was a way to be able to keep track of a forum. For example, let's say there was a button next to the forum's name that says: watch this forum and then it would get added to a list on your profile. That would be convinient.)So tell us, what do think about having pics on your profile, and watching forums.
if we could put pics in our profiles then the pics could contain nudity and it would be too hard to continuously check profiles for nudity or inappropriate content...
Yeah, just upload the picture on photobucket and link to it, you could even put the link on your about. Pictures would also take up too much room, and lag the site if there was too much of them.
As everyone has said before, because people would post porn. If you were here maybe a week and a half ago, there was porn in the forums for about 4 hours before the mods came on....Thanks you UberTuna!
And lets say that you could post images on your profile, how are you going to track those somewhat 30 thousand active members?
Here is an alternative... you can use the img code in comments, but you are restricted to 300px horizontally.
Basically, if you are an artist, then the artsection would be fine to make a thread in, and link to it in your profile with a nice Art Goes Here-ish title. Not your art, then post a link to it. Most abouts are really long anyway, it would not matter much with more links.
Then maybe they could make it so that once u reach 2,000 AP then u can have pics, THAT WAY if someone does post nudity, their profile will get deleted and that work would go to waste, and they couldnt just make a new account to post pics.
