These are good...but the frame rate is too slow.

Are you making them in GIMP?

I can't say these are the best I have seen, but they are alright. Just like Ryan said, you need to have a faster frame rate. I think you should have them movie inch by inch, but have a really fast frame rate. When I do that, it becomes awesome! (idk if you understand) Lol! XD
