How about a chatbox so we can all chat with our friends so the forum doesn't get all spammy when people use the forums as their Personal Chatbox like showing a chatbox when playing a game and either choosing to mute everyone if you don't really like any chatting
This has been suggested a bunch of times and it has been turned down a bunch of times. The reason is that people would spam it too much, and the mods couldn't handle it anymore. Maybe we could have this feature in the future, but I doubt it.
We used to have a chat feature, but it was abused. People could not use it responsibly, and used the tools against members who were being responsible, and there was no proper way to track inappropriate posts or members. So we decided to remove it. And we do not plan on having a chat feature again.
we, at one point of time, had a chatbox. It was filled with spammers though. It was taken off after about 2 weeks it came up, or less actually. Either way, it's been suggested, and many people have made unofficial AG chatboxes.
