This is a good question.In my opinion,the Cold Hydro is the best,just because you can keep anyone alive for a VERY long time.
The Speed Bio is an Iron Cannon;can take a beating,and still deal nice damage.The only problem with these is that there is SO MUCH PREP. Corrosion - Predator Form - Toxicant Form - Shadow Blend - Agile Exposure - Withdrawl is alot of prep.THe Shadow Blend - Withdrawl combo is useful in 3v3 fights,though.The healing with Withdrawl is also a nice thing;300% bonus to ALL healing,and auto-regen HP and Focus for 2 or 3 turns.A stun could(and will) easily ruin all of this prep,though.On occasion,you can get a double turn with Shadow Blend,making for an unguardable 10k damage attack(maybe more).

Good damage and healing,but too much prep.
The only other class i've tried is the Hydro.
The hot Hydro has no defense;maybe like a glass cannon.
The Cold Hydro is VERY noteworthy,though.
The Cold Hydro has a generally high HP and instinct.He can use Ice Wall and Restore to heal himself and his allies.Most,if not all of his abiities,cost 0 Focus,making Cold Neurology VERY useful.A maxed Cold Neurology+Ice Wall combo is a 95% damage reduction.This gives the most survivability of ANY class.Ice Wall can also be used in offense,shorting out speed Bios and Wraith Forms.This also gives Veradux MAJOR healing power.If you have Guardian Form,you can use that with Ice Wall to only take 1 damage from everything.Pretty sweet,eh?Now,if the Cold Hydro(somehow)gets low on health,he can use a maxed-out Reconstruct to heal the majority of his HP.Although this will cost him all of his focus,2 Vapor Cannons will get his focus back in the game.Now,if his Reconstruct is Countered,or nullified,he can have Roald use Greater Purpose,taking Approx. 39% more healing.Now,if they are BOTH on cooldown,you can use Flash Freeze to stun the offense,giving you healing time.
