The Rage of Hanin

The Conflict

These are the time's of the sword, the bushido. In these days there is a conflict between three rageing faction's, it is a four century old war that is coming closer and closer to it's conclusion with each passing day. Some fight for obediance, Some fight for just the sake of fighting, Other's fight for honor and justice. The different faction's are the Imperial forces, the Fujin, and the Jinong. The Empire is struggling to maintain it's iron vice grip of control over the land, the Fujin are furiosly revolting against the empire trying to restore the peace and the Jinong are nomadic type people passing by, but they are extremely violent and aggressive. The Jinong are barbaric, and they thrive from battle. The Jinong wish to eradicate the Empire and the Fujin alike. That is their goal, to bring complete destruction to the land. The Empire has been cruel to the people of the land, and the Fujin wish to destroy the current government so they can establish their own, more fair and honorable system. How will your choices affect this world?

Faction Description.

The Empire

The Empire has been in controll ever since the first record's were recorded. When the Empire was first established, it was governed by honorable people with good intentions. However, as time's change, so do people. Currently the empire is makeing the living condition's for it's population unbearable. The people are growing tired of the way the empire treat's them and they want something to be done about it. The army is highly trained and disciplined. They have the most soldier's and are well equipped for battle. The Empire's army equip's with a very large variety of weopon's. Depending on an individual's rank, the type of armor they wear is different. Low ranking soldier's wear thin armor that mainly serve's as clothing, rather than armor. Officer's wear armor capable of sustaining damage from arrow's shot at a long range and in some cases a slash from a sword, though it is weak against up close piercing blow's. High ranking individual's wear light armor and often ride a horse, their armor serves well against arrows and piecring attack's, but a slash will easily kill them. The Empire is limited to, Samurai, Archer, Spearmen and Mercenaries.

Fujin

The Fujin were once a section of the Empire's army, but due to recent changes made, they succeeded from the Empire and became their own people. They are aware of the corruption within the Empire and wish to over power their old government so they can take controll. The Fujin value honor above all material thing's. The Fujin are well trained warrior's, however they are now ronin's. Their number's are not high but not low either. They are skilled in assassination and reconnaissance. The Empire consider's to Fujin to be a extreme threat to their rule, and show them no mercy. During their time with the Empire, they trained to gain incredible stealth and agility, they are limited to what weopon's they can use. Fujin can only use one handed close range weopon's and often use a bow rather than a blade. The only two handed weopon the Fujin are experienced with is the basic spear. Fujin are limited to, Samurai, Archer and Spearmen.

Jinong

The Jinong are an unknown people to this part of the world. They are believed to have come from across the ocean from a different land. All they have done since their first arrival is pillage and destroy, leaveing nothing but death and destruction in their path. If they let you live, it's because they wish to use you as a slave. The Jinong to not speak the same language as the people in this area, but they wouldnt talk to the Fujin or Empire forces if they could anyway. The Jinong are extremely dangerous and have alot of battle experience. They wear thick armor that defend's against nearly everything and carry heavy weopon's, often two handed. The streangh of the Jinong strikes fear into their enemie's. The Imperial forces and the Fujin alike have tried to destroy the Jinong, or atleast get them to leave the territory, however the Jinong prove to be very persistant. The Jinong are normally seen useing two handed axes or large maces. Jinong are limited to Berzerker, Warrior, and the Barbarians.

Classes

Samurai

Live's by the sword, and will die by the sword. This class is experienced in close combat and uses a Katana or a Long Bow. This class is the backbone of The Empire, though there are some Samurai with the Fujin. Samurai wear a variety of different type's of armor. Jinong can not use this class. Player's in the empire who choose this class can not make themself a officer right after starting, you must progress through the rank's. The Samurai have the ability to put themselves in their enemie's shoes, giving them a slight advantage in battle. They are masters at analyzing their enemies.

Archer

The archer has spent his or her entire life useing a bow. They are expert's of accuracy and are very intelligent when it come's to combat strategy. The Archer class is not limited to the Long Bow like the samurai, you may even wish to use a early form of Cross Bow. The Archer has no training with any type of blade, so you are limited to only useing a bow. Archer's generally dont wear armor, they need to flexability and speed in order to be deadly accurate. Any Faction can use this class. Archer's serve as good sentry unit's. A well trained archer can sence if any hostile's are nearby and have very good hearing.

Spearmen

The spearmen are well experienced in combat with the spear. Throwing and fighting. A skilled spearman can repel wave's of troop's due to the long reach of their weopon. The armor a spearman wear's is custom made to protect them from arrow's. Any Faction can use this class. Spearmen are great defensive unit's, though they wear light armor. They have the unique ability to last in battle's against high number's of enemies due to their long reach.

Berserker

The Berserker's are Jinong warrior's of the highest calibur. They wear the heaviest, thickest armor and carry the biggest most powerfull weopon's. They are by far the most feared of all the classes. However, they tire easily and have minimal maneuverability. The best Berserker's can only fight for ten or so minute's before they exhuast and have to retreat, or else they are killed with ease. The Berserker can go into a type of rage that increases their over-all streangh for a very short period of time. This ability enables them to shatter enemy weopon's and shield's.

Barbarian

This specific class is only usable if you are a Jinong. The Barbaric class is not restricted when it come's to weopon's, they may use what ever they wish. Some popular weopon's for this class are the ball and chain, the war hammer and the halberd. The armor used by the Barbarian's is weak against most attack's and has very poor defence. The Barbarian's rely on their brute streangh rather than a good defence. This class has no special abilitie's, other than no limitation's on the type of weopon's they are good with.

Warrior

The basic Jinong footsoldier. The Warriors have high defence to ranged attacks and decent defence against close ranged attacks. Their armor is often thick and defends against everything very well. The maneuverability suffers due to the heavy armor warn, but the Warrior is in such good physical condition that they do not tire easily, however they are by no means agile. Warriors like to use both one, and two handed weopons, but Warriors may not use any type of projectile weopon, meaning no bows and such. The warrior is a very valuable asset to the jinong army.

Mercenary

The Mercenary's are hired hand's from acrossed the land. They can work for either the Empire or the Fujin. If they are not working for someone, they just wander the land and seek work. Mercenary's do not work well together, though there are some camp's made specificly for mercanary's, by mercanaries. The Jinong have no interest in hiring people to do the fighting for them. They are experienced with a large variety of weopon's and wear armor capable of protecting them from minor injury. A stab or a slash can easily cut through even the best of the Mercenary armor, but a arrow is only effective if it is shot at close range. Like the barbarian, the Mercenary is not limited to any speficic type of weopon. This class has no special abilitie's, other than no limitation's on the type of weopon's they are good with.

Towns

Robashi

Robashi is the center of trade, controlled by The Empire with moderate security. It is a small town with a population less than two hundred people. Robashi is the starting place for all Empire and Fujin players. This land has not yet been approached by the Jinong Forces. Many fights break out in this town, they are even expected throughout each day.

Tekunach

Tekunach is a battlezone for all three of the factions. Depending on which class reigns victorios over this battlefield, determines the fate of Robashi. Tekunach is the last line of defence for Robashi, if the Jinong win, the Empire will lose a large ammount of wealth, and the people of Robashi will be destroyed, or enslaved. If the Fujin win, the Fujin morale will be raised, and there will be an increase in wealth among the Fujin people. If The Empire wins, it will continue to over tax Robashi, causeing it's people to revolt, and inevitably be executed.

Gardole

A ship of the Jinong, beached on the shore of Fujin territory. All Jinong players will begin in the boat.

Padsong Fortress

The capital of the Fujin forces. It is atop a mountain overlooking the land.

Yangok

The capital of The Empire, the emperor resides in it's palice.
