You can earn Armor Points (AP) for the following:

Games Rated: Rating flash games earns you 2 AP per rating.
Comments: Providing constructive and creative comments on games and profile comments earns you 2 AP per comment.
Forum Posts: Helping out, or just talking on the forums earns you 1 AP per post.
Games Submitted: Adding games to the site earns you 20 AP per game
Merits: This is for writing out a detailed and well-written review of a game, if it is recognized by a moderator and rewards you a merit, you earn 25 AP. All about merits here and here
