This is so out of my normal drawing style that I figured they'd do okay on their own... Plus, they're more or less just little fragments of my thought processes.
If others are working with similar "catching a moment" scribbles, feel free to post them here.

Snapshots of pain

Just working trough some different poses that can be used to express pain.

Kisses and Strangers

Dunno. This feeling, people passing by, someone standing enveloped in each other...

Everybody is always going Somewhere
http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z121/Mazzelh/Everybodysalwaysgoingsomewhere.png
Have you ever noticed the amount of people who are on their way somewhere? What is the goal, where are we all heading and why... I wonder where they go to.

Toilet

Privacy?

And now two that are just... I felt like drawing the two I live with.

Jeanette (and Kona, one of their cats)

Mike

I dunno if I'll post more here. I might. I see.

Your art is amazing Zophia. I find it astonishing how you have made these scribbles represent humans, creatures and objects so clearly yet with no definate lines.
My favourite drawing has to be "Everybody is always going Somewhere" out of this selection.

hey Mizu, I see something brown on your nose, anyways, I like it, it's decent, but I think I've seen this style before, but people just called is scribbles and things that should be thrown away. I didn't make it, but I knew the guy who did. Good job though.

You're mean. >:| It wont kill you to be nice, will it thoad?

I have to agree with Mizu, Zophia's art IS amazing. She really brings emotions to life with just the way the body is positioned. Plus some of them have a deeper meaning, to the common wonders of the average human than let on to.

The difference between art and scribble is the idea. At least that's what I picked up in art class...

You can make a magnificent painting, and all in it that will be art is the exceptional skill required to make it.
Or you can make a brief sketch, capturing a thought, something provoking, something worth noticing...

I merely attempt to do the latter. I may very well fail. But I've taken an interest to performance art and the provoking or political side of what art can be used for... None of these are really of that caliber, but I would like to think that they serve as sociocultural little captures. Of thoughts. (Except for the sketches of Jeanette and Mike. Those are just sketches. Notice the difference?)

The style is more or less my interpretation of impressionism, without the colours. Personally, I like it. I liked making these. While making them, that's all that matters. Once posted, people get to decide for themselves whether they like them or not. With most of my drawings I seek approval, I make them to get confirmation that there's something I'm good at... I think I do that too much. So I don't really care what you think about these, I just hope ou do think.

Think?
