I'm kind of like that... I can't feel pain inflicted upon me by others, like, AT ALL (I am the toughest kid in my class, however.. ), but I'm always hurting myself in stupid ways...
It's bad if you don't feel pain, because you won't know if something is bad, like you could be stepping on a nail and not know it and you might die of blood loss, but that's just plain weird. You might feel pain, but your body may reject it and it's bad for you.

Anyway, here's an example: I get my face slammed into the drinking fountain nozzle and I feel it bruise for like 1/2 of a second... then... nothing. The only reason people know I'm human is that I flinch at everything I'm not expecting. If someone fake punched me all of a sudden, I'd flinch, but not if I'd expected it...
