I'm not sure where this topic will fit so i put it in music. If i were to make an acoustic song (guitar, harmonica, singing, etc...) and i had a kareoke mic could i plug it in to my computer to use to record the song? If this topic doesn't belong here i apoligize. I thank you in advance for the responses.

It might work better for you to hock it derectly to your computor if you dan't have the right soft ware....you might want to try hocking it up to a camera maybe.

I am not 100% sure but...XD

It should be fine...try using Audacity if you are stuck for a recording program....

For a very basic setup, most computers should (by now) have a port where you can directly plug a microphone, so it should work.

However for best results you may wish to hook it up to a mixer, and then run a...oh whatever, I'm not a sound engineer! xD

Said the ninja horse fixer!
A better mike might be in need,
Depending on the live feed.

A kareoke mike may be fine,
Depending on the sound line.
For qualities sake buy a real one,
It may or may not increase your fun.
