orrr... give veradux paladin armour (all of it, including the sword) then when he uses dark omen use break on him. also, you must have regeneration. it has to do at least 10 focus per turn. if veradux uses poison on omen when he uses dark omen, it hits 50,000 damage! btw, breaks better than shatter bolt. you can use it more often.
