Wow, the game won with pure gems. I thought it would be really easier with some dual gems, with the bonuses it receives compared with pure.

pure has more power so you should almost always use pure except maybe in traps

I think the opposite. Pure should be used in traps (to do the specials better and faster) and dual in towers to do damage (more damage increase). But I am not very advanced in the game, so perhaps later I will see different effects than I can now.

With dual gems I finished at level 64 (What REALLY helps is bombing  the giant monsters ALOT that appear early in the level)

of course he did? If i was going to use pure gems I would most certainly max it out
